Rustad Dermatology strives to provide the best possible care to patients with all sorts of dermatological conditions. In our offices, you will actually see the doctor rather than a physician's assistant or other less experienced care provider.

Some of the most common treatments we provide include:

Skin Cancer - We treat pre-cancerous spots, tumors, cysts, moles, warts and seborrheic keratoses. We routinely use Moh's technique when removing cancer. Plastic surgery repair is done immediately after the cancer has been removed.

Acne - Although thought to be an unavoidable roadblock faced by teenagers on the road to maturity, acne affects both teenagers and adults alike. Several treatments are available that can clear the skin and ease complexion problems.

Actinic Keratosis - This is a common skin condition known as the primitive beginnings of skin cancer and is chiefly caused by overexposure to the sun.

Eczema - Eczema is one of the most common types of dermatitis (inflamed skin). This non-contagious, allergic skin disease can cause continual, superficial inflammation of the skin.

Pediatric Dermatology - Infants and children are prone to experiencing various types of conditions including: cradle cap, skin infections, eczema, warts, hives, poison ivy, impetigo, rashes, sunburn, acne and birthmarks. Learn what can be done to relieve these symptoms.

Psoriasis - What may be just another simple case of dry skin may in fact be psoriasis, a chronic and sometimes painful skin disease. This persistent skin disorder causes the skin to become inflamed, producing red, thickened patches with silvery scales, often called plaques.

Rosacea - It may start as a slight redness that occasionally appears on the cheeks, nose, chin or forehead. With the passage of time however, the complexion can become inflamed, the redness become more apparent and blood vessels may be visible.

Sun Damage and Aging Skin - Exposure to the sun without the proper protection can be very harmful to the long-term health of your skin. In fact, 90% of the discernible signs of premature aging can be directly associated to the sun’s harmful, ultraviolet rays.
